Tomorrow is the day! We kick-off the 2021 season and God has been good to us by warming it up several degrees over previous forecasted temperatures.
***Registration for this Event is Closed @ 8:00pm Thursday***
Tomorrow morning over twenty teams will hit the waters of South Holston Lake and do battle to determine the champion of the "Harkleroad Holston Showdown" presented by Todd Harkleroad Roofing!
Tournament Details:
Lake: South Holston
Ramp: Washington Co. Park (19482 County Park Rd, Abingdon, VA 24211)
$2 Ramp Fee (There is no envelope. Drop money in and go)
Time: Safe Light - 3:00pm (*Expect to blast between 7:20am and 7:30am)
Limit: 5 Fish/Team
Size: 12in. Spots and Largemouth; 15 in. Smallmouth

Fees:
$25 / angler TNCBA Membership
$20 / angler Entry Fee
$10 / angler Big Bass
(*Big Bass is optional, but to be entered, you must pay prior to fishing your first tournament. This can be paid at the ramp prior to take off.)
Fishing License:
A Virginia Fishing license is not required to launch or weigh-in in Virginia, but you must have the appropriate licensure to fish in Virginia water. The TN Fishing License runs out on the same date no matter when you purchase, so it would be ridiculous to purchase the South Holston add-on with it about to run out, but the simplest thing to do if you need a license for Virginia is to purchase a (One-Day Non-Resident License) for $8.00.

Parking and Launching:
I will be arriving at the ramp early to set up cones. We will have three lanes operating to get boats in quickly. Please remember ramp etiquette such as make ready before getting on the ramp, turn headlights off when backing down the ramp, etc. After launching your boat, please use the next available parking space. We will stage and blast over by the bluff. We will conduct livewell check as your number is called and you idle out.
